Salamander Fire and Security Limited was established in October 2000 in a back bedroom. We have grown steadily over the last 10 years and now have offices and a warehouse based in Redditch. This position in the heart of the Midlands enables us to operate all over England and Wales and this is emphasised by having our engineers based from as far south as Cornwall to as far north as Tyneside!

All of our installations comply with insurance specifications and the relevant statutory regulations, including PD6662:2004 and DD243.
We are compliant with police forces across England and Wales and are members of the Chamber of Commerce and our Managing Director is on the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) monthly report panel.
We have fourteen staff in our team including our Managing Director, Tim Dudley, Installation Manager, Graham Nicholls, Surveyor, Mike Skinner, six engineers and four administration staff. All of our staff are experienced and professional giving you the confidence that your security is safe in our hands. They are all fully trained and we ensure that they attend all the relevant training courses making sure they are up to date with all the latest legislation and products and are continually adding to their knowledge.
Our Surveyor, Mike Skinner has over 36 years experience within the industry and he uses the full extent of his vast knowledge to provide the right solution for you.
All of our members of staff are Police checked and fully CRB checked so that we can work with schools, nurseries and other delicate areas that require a professional, trustworthy company.

Not only is our workforce renowned for their high standards of service we also only use the best tried and tested products which enable us to give extended 24 month warranty for all new installations.
At present, following successful acquisitions, we have a customer base of over 5500 of our own alarm systems spread across the UK, of which we maintain around 2500 systems on a 24 hour engineering cover, for customers with a maintenance agreement. Many of these systems are monitored through an Alarm Receiving Centre via Redcare GSM, Dual-com or Digicom. Since formation in 2000 we have also installed over 5000 ADT monitored alarm systems which are now looked after by ADT and the monitoring is done through their Alarm Receiving Centre.
